Brittany, I think that every one is a great writer. And so I don't sound like a complete loon, I will expand on that generalization. Most people who think they aren't a great writer simply haven't found their "voice". Grammar can always be fixed, and spelling...well spell check is a very dear friend of mine, we hang out often. The key is finding your style, to make it sound like you are speaking to a person. You already have the first and most important part, you like to write. When I write, I re-read after a few sentences. If it doesn't sound like something I would really say to someone in person, then I re-write it. Of course there are careers where you have to write in certain styles and I've worked in those sectors, but if you just want to write what you like, start a blog like I did. I'm telling you, it has been a truly life changing experience for me. And although I don't have a ton of followers, it's fun when I get to write and know that someone likes what I'm saying. i think its not how you write but what you write, writing is nothing with the though or idea someone may write an old idea in a new way but that wont be much different, the real deal is your views and the way you express them that makes a better writer
