I have been building computers since i was around 12, so around 11 years now.

When i was younger i use to get babysat by my mums best friends son who was around 18 at the time. He was a super nerd and loved PC, Star-Trek and all sorts of things - i was just growing up and i thank him for teaching me how to build PCs and being a nerd ;D - then again im not a huge fan of Star-Trek ;D.

I like building computers as they save money - but they irritate me because for one thing if you do something wrong then you are not usually covered by warranty whilst if you dont do your research then you might buy a part that is not compatible with your PC.

I remember when i was starting out i had my already built PC. I didnt do enough research when i was buying a new GPU - i put it in and found out my motherboard didnt support it. So i brought another motherboard, then found out my CPU was not compatible, brought a new CPU, then found out my ram was not enough....Yeah well lets just say lesson learnt!
