Changing Username Colour In Vbulletin

    Hi,

    As I have been posting here, I am developing a new website.

    I am experimenting with VBulletin as a forum to go with my site. I just wanted to know how to change Username colour so that Admin's username is Red, Mods are Green etc.

    my admin just actually changed the color of the groups of admin mods and users to Deep red, red and green resp, i will ask him and get back with the answer for you, by the way justin i am a supermod in another forum if you need moderating help with your place once its up and running i can help, beside that i am a active member in many places so if you want you can invite me to your place, Best of luck with your new place, Justin

    Ok, here's how to do it...

    1. Go to your admincp
    2. Expand the Usergroups setting group
    3. Click on Usergroup Manager
    4. Select the usergroup you wish to set the username markup for and select 'Edit Usergroup (id: x) Then click Go
    5. You should see an option saying 'Username HTML Markup'. The first box is the start tag, and the second box is the end tag.
    6. Specify the HTML in the start and end tags to apply them to the users who belong to that usergroup.

    For example to make usergroup Colour Red,

    In First Box put, <span style="color: red;">
    And in Second box put </span>

    Here are the instructions:
    Go to Admincp --> UserGroups (left menu) --> Usergroup Manager --> Select the Group (Admin or Mod..etc) --> Click Edit
    Keep Title and User Title as it is.
    In username HTML markup : In first box add this: <span style="color:#b51718;font-weight:bold">
    In username HTML markup : In second box add this: </span>
    That`s all.

    Thanks to both of you... ya it's done now.

    Thanks Newgod, btw the name is Julian.

    And my site will be about financial markets in the Eurozone, not sure if you would be interested in that. Anyways the forum is just an idea, the main focus is getting the main financial site going... I have just started and it will be a few months before it goes live.
