"Sci Fi geeks"? One sighs in dismay, as science fiction aficionados deplore the abbreviaton "Sci Fi" for the genre they love and to which they have referred as "S F" (ess eff) since sf's early golden days.
when I was t Far be it from me to persuade you to adopt a position more deferential to the giants of the genre who adopted the SF abbreviation and continue to do so, but I once liked smoking, but when told that it was wrong I stopped. Incidentally, "Sci Fi" is viewed as a term not used by sf authors and hardcore sf readers and collectors, but by those hovering on the genre's periphery, like fans of Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator and other tv and movie sf, rather than those who read and/or collect and discuss the books of Philip K Dick, Robert Heinlein, Jack Vance, Vernor Vinge, Stephen Baxter, Neal Asher, Alastair Reynolds etc.
never look at an object just from one side, because that way you can only see half of the thing, look at it from all the sides, that you will see the whole object sci fi writers, movies, comics, cartoons, even sci fi art and everything should be observed as its all included, its the same thing and one should never stop at one point over any topic for example religion one should not just be satisfied with books and the knoweldge people should try to find more as much as they can, similarly everything that is related to sci fi is sci fi
