Do you watch the show Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam on Colors Tv Channel?

Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam

Well I used to and would like to. The show had a lot of things going for it. Firstly, it was a cute romantic love story between two neighbors. The lead pair of Gaurav Khanna and Yami Gautam are a big hit with the youth bringing a new kind of audience to Indian telly. Secondly it brought in family dynamics of a small town, lucknow, into everyone’s living room. The prejudices and customs associated with the Indian caste system, although heavily dramatized, still hold a lot of truth to it. So these and many more reasons made the show a very good entertainer, even for someone like me who never watches any soap operas.

However these days it seems the show is not about either of the above mentioned reasons. These days it seems the writers are very pleased to introduce a love triangle with the violent, jealous and terrible OMI. In the first few days that I saw him in the show, I thought the writers are just providing a sub-plot to delay the main story. However nowadays OMI has become the main story. Frustrated, I switched over to watching the show on Youtube so that I can just fast forward whenever he’s on screen. However they are showing OMI more and more on the show, to the point where he’s there in the full 25 mins of it’s airtime.

Well, I have since last week stopped watching Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. From the Ad promos, it is abundantly clear that the channel is persisting with him and have made him into a major character. Well, for a few days I was surprised that there really was a show on Indian Telly which even I can watch… but not anymore… oh I hate OMI… Do you?

I recently wrote a small review of Tata photon prepaid. Since writing that review people have asked me how to check their balance left and usage details so I decided to share this:

How do I check my Tata Photon Prepaid Balance?

When I had bought my first tata photon datacard back in March, the customer care quite frankly told me that they do not have any balance checking facility yet by sms or online but it will come soon. Now I can at least confirm that the Usage Details are available through their website http://tataindicom.com and/or by registering your mobile number with them.

Method 1: By receiving balance updates by SMS

This one is simple. Just call their Customer Care Number 1800-266-121 and ask them to register your mobile number to receive balance updates by SMS. They will ask you to identify yourself. Just give them your Photon account details and ask them to register your mobile number.

If successful, you will receive SMS updates every time you use Photon to connect to the internet.

Method 2: From their website tataindicom.com

Here’s what you got to do.

Open their website and first select your Location in the top of the page.

Now take your mouse to “My Account” and click on “New User”.

In the next page, select Account Type as “Prepaid”, and enter your 10 digit Photon prepaid number and your email address and Submit.

Once you submit, you will be taken to another page where they will ask you for an alternate mobile number and ask you to submit again.

Now, check your email. You would have received your password by email. This is the email I got:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for visiting www.tataindicom.com and registering your Photon+ account. The user ID and password for your Photon+ account is as follows

Password: xxxx

Please feel free to contact us for any further clarifications or assistance via email at cs.mumbai@tatatel.co.in or call us at 12524 from your TATA Indicom mobile phone or 9220012524 from a Non Tata Indicom phone.

Assuring you of our best services at all times.

Warm Regards
Team Tata Indicom

This is an automated message. Please do not reply.

Now go back to tataindicom.com and login with your Photon Mobile number and password. They will ask you to change your password which is a bit of a pain… (special characters and uppercase and lower case etc. etc. )

After logging in, you will find a text: Please Click here to view your Usage details. Clicking there will open a popup window where you have three options, SMS, My Profile and Usage Details.

SMS: Shows all the SMS that have supposedly been sent to you about your account balance and other Photon details

My Profile: Shows some insignificant detail, nothing really there.

Usage Details: This is where you can see your Usage Details.

To See your balance left, click on SMS and check the most recent SMS. That will tell you how much balance you have left.

Click on Usage Details. You have to select the Date range for which you want to see the Usage Details.

For example, this is what it shows for me for a particular date range:

So there we have it, here’s my Photon Usage Details!

Now obviously there are many things wrong with this.

Firstly the Usage details is given in bytes. Not everyone knows what that means or how to do the calculations. So let me explain,

For example, three rows for 4th April means I connected thrice on 4th April. The first time I connected I used a total of 12382141 byte. That means:

(12382141/1024) / 1024 = 11.8 MB

Secondly, the Usage details page does not show my total balance left. So if I had recharged with say 250 MB, I would need to add the values in TotalConsumed column and convert them to MB, then subtract the result from my original balance, phew!!!

So well, this is what we have till now! If you ask me, I am still gonna make that call to customer care and ask them how much balance I have left untill they make their website more user-friendly!

My work takes me to different places, different offices. For the past few days I was working inside a network where for some inexplicable reason all browsers except internet explorer were blocked. All versions of IE were working just fine, but the network administrator through some firewall programme had blocked all other browsers.

I am surprised at how outdated this mentality is and how little some network administrators know about browser security. The rationale behind blocking all other browsers was that they did not want any “Non-Standard” software to run on their network. Ok, so it is not my position or place to judge them so I thought of what I can do to get my favorite browser back. Now, I absolutely love Firefox and I feel it is the best browser in the world. Google chrome is giving firefox good competition, but for advanced users who wanna raise hell with their browsers, Chrome is not there yet. It may be but not yet.

So coming back to the point, if you are under such a situation, what you want to do is make firefox report itself as a different user-agent to the network. In case you are interested in the technical jargon, here’s a quote from Wikipedia.

When a user agent operates, it typically identifies itself, its application type, operating system, software vendor, or software revision, by submitting a characteristic identification string to its operating peer. In the HTTP and SIP protocols, this is transmitted in a header field User-Agent.

User agents identify their software as part of the client-server conversation. In HTTP and SIP, the identity is transmitted via the
User-Agent
request header, as described by RFC 1945. This string is then used by the communications partner to characterize the client and optionally select suitable content or operating parameters for session.

So in short, browsers or any applications that access network based services have to identify themselves. And that is how applications block browsers in the first place. So what you need to do is make firefox report itself as IE (or any other which is allowed) and you are good to go! So how we do it. Well… it’s firefox remember, did i tell you it was the best browser in the world? Well you install a simple Add-On, it’s called User Agent Switcher. Basically what it does is change the
User-Agent
header string and set it to default IE/other strings. So your network checks are spoofed into thinking it’s IE and allowing it to go!

If you already are inside the prohibitive network and are wondering how you can install the addon in firefox, just open the add-on page from IE and right click on “Add to Firefox” and click on “Save Target As“. That will save a .xpi file on your computer. Now start firefox and Goto File–>Open File and open the .xpi file. That should start the Add-On install process. Once installed, restart firefox.

Now go to Tools menu in firefox and it will have an entry where it says “Default User Agent“. Just click on that and select Internet Explorer and then version.

Select User-Agent

So there you go, now your firefox is IE for the network and happy browsing.

P.S: If you are still using Internet Explorer simply because it comes installed by default, you are missing out on a rich internet browsing experience. Go get Firefox right now!

Tata photon has recently launched prepaid internet connection for their High Speed Broadband data card. Now I do have an excellent wired broadband internet connection at home (again from Tata indicom broadband) but still I went ahead and bought one for my laptop. Now I am usually carrying my laptop around and it made sense to me to have broadband internet access on the go.

The current price is Rs. 2400 which I feel is reasonable given that it was costing 3500 Rs just a month ago. Also they gave me 1 GB of free data transfer which was good that I din’t have to make another immediate expense on purchasing data transfer balance.

The installation of the software that comes with the Tata photon is pretty simple and auto-starts as soon as you plug the USB device in your USB slot. The data card I had got came from Huawei. The other option I had was of Haier. However having used a Huawei mobile before, I preferred Huawei. Once the software called “Huawei Access Manager” was succesfully installed, I needed to create a new connection profile. Here’s how to do it:

Double click on Huawei Access Manager to start the program.

Click on Tools–>Options

In the Options Window, click on Network Settings

Click on New

Give a Name for this connection profile, for example, Photon

Leave the Default Access Number untouched.

Enter the Photon phone number as 9xxxxxxxxx@domain as your username. You should get this data from the dealer when you purchase the device. For example here in Kolkata, I got 9xxxxxxxxx@photon.ttsl.in

Enter the password that you should have got from the dealer. The default is internet which should work in most cases.

Click on Save and optionally click on set as default.

There you go you are done. Once the profile is saved, all I have to do is plugin the device, double click Huawei Access Manager on my desktop and Click on connect. I got decent speeds on the road here at kolkata and when I was visiting Hyderabad.

Ok, a word about why I chose Prepaid over Postpaid. In postpaid, I have to select a plan before month end for the next month from options of Rs 500, Rs 650 or Rs 750 each giving me .5, 1 and 2 GB data transfer respectively. So if I take a postpaid connection, I absolutely HAVE TO PAY minimum of Rs 500 every month whether I use photon or not. If I don’t pay a bill for a month, TADA! my connection gets cut.

Now compare that with prepaid, where I have options of Rs. 200, Rs. 500, Rs. 700 and Rs. 850 for 250 MB, 650 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB respectively all for a validity of 30 days. But here’s the bumper prize, you have a grace period of 6 months (5 months after initial 30 days) for any prepaid card. So if I recharge by Rs 850 for 2 GB and then don’t recharge for another 5 months, my connection doesn’t get cut. And if I recharge by a minimum of Rs. 200 my balance left keeps getting added over. So for someone like me, who already has a wired internet connection at home and uses Photon for mobile internet on the road, i can get away with a minimum of Rs. 200 every month because I don’t need too much data transfer!

Another advantage of Prepaid over Postpaid is that unlike postpaid, if you over use your data transfer limit, you just won’t be able to connect anymore. I have a colleague who one fine day, received a bill of Rs 5000 on his photon postpaid connection because he had forgotten to check how much he was using and photon just kept on adding to his bill after his balance had run out.

Anyways, these were my thoughts and review of it. I feel the Photon Data card is a great product if you spend too much time roaming from place to place and need to remain connected on good speeds. But in my opinion on the long run, the prepaid connection would prove cheaper and more practical to you. Let me know your thoughts.

******************************************************************************
Update: Tata Photon Prepaid has now begun to provide your Usage Details online on their website which was not available earlier. Thanks to Subhankar Paul, I checked out how to do it and wrote about Tata Photon Prepaid Balance and Usage Details.

One of the annoying things about all Adobe Products is Adobe’s autotmatic update feature. I was today browsing the net on a slower network when I found that Adobe Automatic updater was downloading several MB’s of update files. While I like my adobe products to be updated, I would want that the program ask me first.

Anyhow to disable the automatic updates of any Adobe Product, be it Photoshop or Adobe Reader or any other you need to do the following:

Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater5

Run AdobeUpdater.exe

The program may check for available updates, let it finish. It will come to a screen where you will have a Button or link which says “Preferences“

The Adobe Updater Preferences window will open.

To disable Automatic updates of all Adobe programs installed on your computer untick “Automatically Check for Adobe Updates“

You can alternately change the frequency of time after which the program checks for updates from “Every Week” to “Every Month“.

Alternatively you can just untick any one program for which to disable Automatic updates from the list in the box below.

Hope this helps.

Microsoft has announced the release of a new platform to test it’s upcoming Internet Explorer 9 version, in what it has branded as “Internet Explorer Platform Preview”. The official Internet Explorer Blog released the following Information about the platform preview.

Today we’re excited to release the first ever Internet Explorer Platform Preview. The Platform Preview provides developers an early look at some of the features coming to Internet Explorer, enabling them to try out the new capabilities of the platform.

The reason given for the release of this platform preview and not a full Beta is that Microsoft is interested in getting immediate feedback from developers and for people to try out the new high ACID3 score compared to previous versions, support for CSS 3, HTML 5 and Hardware Acceleration.

Here’s the detailed explanation of what the Internet Explorer Platform Preview is:

What It Is

The Internet Explorer Platform Preview is a light-weight frame around the core IE platform which includes the rendering and layout, object model, parsing, and script engines. It’s a way to try out the platform, and the experience improvements we’re making to performance, standards support and interoperability, enabling “the same markup” to work.

We designed the Platform Preview to be installed, side by side with IE8. The Platform Preview is not a replacement for your daily browser; for example, the Preview does not have an address bar, a back button, anti-phishing or malware protection. The Platform Preview does include debugging and diagnostics tools for developers. It also includes a way to provide feedback. The top level menus include Report Issue. You can find more information on how to use the Platform Preview in the User Guide.

This is the first Platform Preview. We will update it approximately every 8 weeks on the road to Beta. Each update will provide a more complete look at the IE9 platform. The Platform Preview along with these updates and the reporting tools are designed to speed up the feedback loop between developers and the IE platform.

Also the FAQ page for the Internet Explorer Platform Preview gives the following explanation for it’s release instead of a full-fledged Beta:

Why not just release a full beta?

The Platform Preview is not intended to replace the beta version that will be released as a full browser once the build has reached the customer quality bar for release. Microsoft is releasing the Platform Preview to give developers the opportunity to test and provide feedback on the underlying platform for Internet Explorer 9. You can find more about what is implemented in the release notes.

While all of this looks good, as a long time developer, I still had serious doubts if Microsoft can get things right with IE with it’s 9 release. I only had to get little far when I discovered this:

Does Platform Preview run on Windows XP?

No. Internet Explorer 9’s GPU-powered graphics take advantage of new technologies available in Windows 7 and back-ported only to Windows Vista. These technologies depend on advancements in the display driver model introduced first in Windows Vista.

This effectively rules me out from trying out the new platform preview and I would suspect hundreds of other developers. Microsoft’s Hachamovitch confirmed in a Q&A with press and analysts following the keynote that IE 9 will not support XP. The preview only runs on Vista SP2 and higher.

Google has recently announced the addition of Third Party Ad networks to their AdSense Programme. If you are an Adsense publisher, this is the mail you may have g0t:

We have launched a new capability in AdSense allowing Google-certified ad networks compete directly within AdSense, which means that advertisers from these third-party networks will be able to compete with AdWords advertisers to show on the Google Content Network.

These new capabilities will automatically be enabled for your account, and you’ll see a new section in your Ad Review Center where you can allow or block specific ad networks or all networks except AdWords. Please note that we’ll gradually be adding new ad networks to AdSense accounts over the next few months, so you won’t see any immediate impact on your ads or your earnings.

To ensure the quality of the ads that appear on AdSense publisher websites, Google will certify all participating ad networks for adherence to our standards for user privacy, ad quality, and speed. Some participating ad networks use targeting methods similar to Google’s interest-based advertising to show more relevant ads to users on the sites they visit. These ad networks won’t be permitted to collect data from your site for the purpose of subsequent interest-based advertising, but we’ll allow networks that comply with user privacy guidelines to show ads using these tools. Publishers can opt out of user interest targeting from these ad networks, and Google has changed our requirements for third-party ad serving to reflect this.

We are currently only accepting ads from Google-certified ad networks in North America and Europe, but we will make this feature available to ad networks in additional parts of the world in the future.

To learn more and manage the ad networks appearing on your pages, visit the AdSense Help Center at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=13522 and visit our blog post at http://adsense.blogspot.com/2010/03/google-certified-ad-networks-now.html.

As you can see the list includes several big names like Chitika, Advertising.com, Valueclick etc. and several smaller players. I am of the opinion that this move should be potentially beneficial to both Google and Small Publishers because, smaller publishers may get access to larger Advertiser database and obviously Google is going to keep it’s cut. However, I don’t think this would have any impact on the earnings of smaller publishers in spite of their getting access to new advertisers because what matters is the amount of Clickthrough a publiser can generate, so irrespective of new advertisers that is beyond the control of Google.

However this, in my opinion is a positive move and we will see as the months go ahead what is the potential impact.

If you are a blogger or forum owner, you might notice that when you embed a Youtube video in your blog or post, it’s missing the Fullscreen button. I personally own a VBulletin powered Oracle Forums. One of the members at the site shared a video and I noticed that the video was missing the Fullscreen button. I did some research and it’s basically very simple to add the full screen button in the embed code.

Firstly here’s what the embed code looks before:

<object width="640" height="385" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/Diu5eFHbFoA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" class="restrain" id="yui-gen14">
<param value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Diu5eFHbFoA&amp" name="movie">
<param value="transparent" name="wmode">
</object>

And this is the result, note that there is no Fullscreen button:

To add the Fullscreen button what we need to do is add the variable fs=1 to youtube URLS and set the parameter allowFullScreen to true. Here’s how the code above needs to be modified:

<object width="640" height="385" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/Diu5eFHbFoA&amp&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" class="restrain" id="yui-gen14">
<param value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Diu5eFHbFoA&amp&fs=1" name="movie">
<param value="transparent" name="wmode">
<param value="true" name="allowFullScreen">
</object>

And here’s the result:

For VBulletin Forum Owners

You need to go to Styles & Templates –> Style Manager –> <Your Style> –> BBCode Layout Templates –> bbcode_video:

Find:

<vb:elseif condition="$provider == 'youtube'" />
<object class="restrain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="385" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/{vb:raw code}">
	<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{vb:raw code}" />
	<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
</object>

Replace with:

<vb:elseif condition="$provider == 'youtube'" />
<object class="restrain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="385" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/{vb:raw code}&fs=1">
	<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{vb:raw code}&fs=1" />
	<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
	<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
</object>

Hope this helps you out.

My friend works for DID. I came to know the real reason behind Dharmesh elimination. It was the only way to get him to Remo’s group, and he was getting frustrated with Geeta. So, Zee TV said it would improve TRP ratings as well. So, what they did is to eliminate him, and he is coming back next week into Remo’s group ! Thank god !! This is real news guys..so don’t worry.. Dharmesh is coming back.. to REMO !

UPDATE 2: As expected, MNP has been delayed again. Trai chairman J.S. Sarma said on June 8, 2010, “MNP should not go beyond September”. It seems now we are looking at a date of 30th September. However with the current plans of 3G rollout by end of this year, even this date seems unlikely.

UPDATE: As of March, 2010, the Mobile number portability has again been delayed by at least 3 more months. It seems, MNP will not begin in India before July, 2010.

Mobile number portability or MNP as it is more popularly called, is the ability for end-users to change their Mobile operator network while retaining their existing mobile number. This service is available in many countries around the world like in most European countries and many asian and african countries. Interestingly, Pakistan also has it.

This service has been in the talks for a long time in India. Initially it was announced that Mobile Number Portability would be started in metro cities by 1 January 2010 and in other places by 1st April 2010. This was however delayed due to BSNL and MTNL lagging behind in the infrastructure required to implement the same. The latest Press release by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), govt. of India, has announced that Mobile Number Portability in India will be implemented by 31st March 2010.

So what does this means for us?

If you have been cribbing about your service provider for whatever reason, or being jealous of your friend or partner’s network’s service but just can’t change your number, then MNP is the solution for you. Personally I have a reliance Telecom number. While I am satisfied with their services, I am stuck with a CDMA handset. I have been wanting to purchase a new business phone, but am unwilling to invest it in a reliance CDMA handset.

So for all such issues, we will now need to fill up a form and pay a maximum of Rs. 19 to migrate to the new network. The switchover should not involve a downtime of more than a couple of hours. I am quite pleased with this development and would be among the first to apply for the MNP service.

I have always had this strange problem that all my site’s URL’s in Google Analytics have my full site URL appended. I am talking about my Oracle Forums. I always ignored it because the stats were being shown correctly.

Today, I decided to investigate it, and is it turns out the “fix” is really simple. From the main Analytics page, edit the profile for the website which is having the problem, by clicking on “edit” on the right hand side. There is a field called “Default page”. Whatever value you will have in that will be appended to all your URL’s by Google Analytics. I had my full site URL in that field. Google says:

The Default page is the webpage to which your server defaults when no page on the domain is specified. For example, if the “index.html” page is loaded from your server when a user enters “www.yourdomain.com”, “index.html” is considered to be the Default page.

Your Analytics Profile Settings page contains a field in which to specify your default page. This information allows Google Analytics to combine hits to www.yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com/index.html, which are in fact the same page. If Default page isn’t specified, these would be reported as two separate pages.

It seems there is some bug in the system, due to which the Default Page functionality is adding the value stored in it to all urls. Anyways to resolve it, simply click on Edit on the top right side in the Main Website Profile Information box where the Default page seting is being shown and clear the field.

Since I am the Administrator of an Oracle Forum, I also browse other Oracle related sites regularly. Among Oracle blogs and forums that I visit, I am quite frequent at the official oracle forums on the oracle.com website, i.e –> forums.oracle.com

Today to my utter surprise I found a particular page on forums.oracle.com selling CIALIS Drug. The page is http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=994926&tstart=0

Now this isn’t a regular Spam thread because it has somehow modified the code of the thread page on the Oracle forum’s website. That’s because the whole page is blank and only the SPAM sentence (I am not gonna write that here) can be seen. So obviously the forum application’s code has been changed. While I would love to know how that’s done (only for educational purposes! ), the point is that the hacked page has a Google Pagerank (PR) 4, and it has obviously been around for many months. I am surprised that Oracle’s forum admins haven’t detected this yet.

P.S. I just found out that the page appears first on Google for the search keywords oracle cialis club. Try it.

Bharti Airtel had entered into the Broadband Internet sector as a logical next step from it’s Mobile services. Airtel has entered into a partnership with a company called Akmin which provides website Building Solutions for PC & Mobile to provide Website Building Solutions targeting the non tech professionals’ market in India. So basically Airtel is providing a 3 step website building solution where a client is required to sign up for the service, choose from predefined templates and upload their own content. They claim to have 15000 predefined templates from which customer’s can choose the look of their website. The service is however limited to their Broadband customers only. When going through Airtel’s offerings the things that struck me as Pros in favor of it were:

PROS

Your Own Domain Name: Unlike free services like Google Sites or Blogger, Airtel is providing you your own domain name. So your site will not be something.googlesites.com or something.blogspot.com.

One Stop Solution: You have a one stop place for all your needs, from taking care of Domain Name Registration to hosting to creating the website to tracking traffic on it etc.

However I am hard-pressed to find another Pro in favor of it. Going through their list of features, the Cons are obvious

CONS

Maximum No. of Pages: WTF?, are we back in stone age or something? There were days about 5 years ago when websites were all made with hard coding and price was decided depending on the number of pages, the client needs. Nowadays any website building co. worth mentioning uses Content Management Systems or Tools where pages are auto-generated. So why would you want to fix your basic pages to 5? It really makes no sense other than the fact that the Standard Pack is simply a marketing Gimmick.

No Google Adsense for Standard Pack: Again WTF? And why? I can see no technical reason. It’s again a definite strategy for users to upgrade to the Professional or E-Commerce Pack.

Uptime: I wouldn’t go anywhere near a web host which says this:

Company strives for 99% uptime so that Customers can create & edit anytime. However, the service may be unavailable for short periods of time due to maintenance and upgrading. While the Website Builder service is unavailable, Customers will not be able to use it to create or edit their site, but their site will not otherwise be affected.

Footer Restriction:

In websites created using Website Builder a text footer with a hyperlink to Website Builder would be set & the customer agrees not to remove it.

Automatic Billing after Trial Period:

In case of Client taking a trial of the service, the billing would start once the trial period is over, if the user does not cancel the Trial period.

Airtel Website Builder Packages

The following are the features according to the three packages that Airtel is offering:

Airtel Website Builder Packages

Conclusion

Well, in conclusion, Airtel’s website features should be purchased if:

You have absolutely no knowledge about Websites.

You are happy with 5 (Standard) or 20 (Professional) pages.

You are not really serious about Monetizing your website.

If however you don’t qualify according to these points you can think about the E-Commerce pack which is available at Rs 1000 per month. That gives you all the advanced features but at a very expensive price. In my personal opinion, their services are not worthwhile as long as the Number of Pages and Adsense restrictions apply on the Standard pack. You can get a far advanced website for less than half the E-Commerce Pack price using WordPress or Drupal or Joomla, which are all free. All you need is register your domain, purchase hosting and download WordPress. There are countless sites which help you (for free!) on getting your online presence started like CodeitWell.

Today I was looking to buy tickets for Avatar 3D online. My first preference of course was the giant IMAX screen at Mani Square, Kolkata. However, a google search later, I found Imax Kolkata’s website. Interestingly that website has been hacked!

To my surprise Firefox gave me the warning that Imax Kolkata’s website was a reported Attack site (a site that contains Malware, viruses etc.) I ignored the warning, only to be redirected to a malware website, which wanted to install all sorts of viruses on my computer. Now I am no average joe with computers and viruses, but I just want to warn people out there that firstly you should use Firefox, the most secure browser in the world. And secondly if any website gives you a warning about possible viruses and wants to install anything on your computer, get the hell out of there!

Anyways for folks who are wondering what has this got to do anything about Booking Imax shows online, I just wanted to give you the heads up that the site to book Imax shows is called Cinemax, and this is the link:
